Drivability question for experienced ASA cam owner

Drivability question for experienced ASA cam owner For you guys that are running or have run the ASA cam and tune with an otherwise stock engine, can you roll down the road at 60 MPH with the A/C on at 1600 rpm? Does it buck or kill the road trip mileage?
My current set up is a 2002 LS1 tuned by Frost with a Lunati Cam that is 220i/224e .575" 112 LSA and springs to match. The engine and T56 is in in a 96 Miata.
I’m thinking about swapping cams to the Howards ASA cam at 226i/236e .525" 110 LSA. The goal is less stress on the valve train and bigger bark in the idle but it needs to be functional rolling down the road in 6th. Thoughts?

I ran this cam in my 2001 SS for a long time. It's awesome... however it leaves a lot of power on the table compared to bigger cams. It idles fine, with a good tune, but is rough and sounds much bigger than it really is. You can run the A/C no prob...
