Default twin turbo 800hp LS1 - how to.

new to LS motors and beginner in motors in general. I'm wondering on what im gonna need to do to the 02 5.3l LS1 to get it to handle all that. it has truck heads on it now other then that its stock. and roughly a price estimate. its going into a mudtruck and staying EFI

Check out the FI (forced Induction) section.

Read through the stickies, they have a breakdown and a DIY turbo thread you might want to check out..

Also search "turbo 5.3's" and that will keep you busy till the new year reading all the threads..

Expect at least $15k when all is said and done, unless you do a lot of the labor yourself.

Exactly, if you want a shop to do it then add 5k-10k
