Spark plug gap for Cam Only ls1??

Default Spark plug gap for Cam Only ls1??

what do i gap my spark plugs to? They are NGK TR55, Msd wires, longtubes, cam, and cold air intake everything else is stock. Thanks!

I've run 45 to 60 with no issue. GM's TSB advises spark plug gap be revised and set to .035 for our cars. I've never actually tried that though.

Those plugs come out of the box already gapped at .055. They will work fine at that gap. But I would always check each of them and make sure that they are all gapped properly before you install them.

.035" works well for TR6. I don't know about the TR55.

TR55s are gapped at 60 I thought.... TR6s are gapped at 35.

EDIT: interesting NGK recommends a TR5 gapped at 40 for our application.

Second digit in the part number is the gap. TR55 and TR5 are the same plug, different gap. I would use the TR5 myself, which has the smaller gap that meets the updated GM requirements.

You are incorrect sir NGK TR55 plugs = .055 gap out of the box.
