hey guys Im in the middle of my swap. just registered over here today. My lq9 block is similar to the ls2 with flat tops. I wanted to know what type of Ls2 setups are the fellas runing? Ive been doing some searching and Im lost.
The 823s I was planing to have them Milled down .030th To get my Lq9 to Ls2 compression area. But here is the kicker. My cam is a Comp cam 227/235 .614/.621 ! on a 113 lsa center 109. Will this cam still work with this combo with my heads shaved .030 runing the stock head gaskets or some .040-.045 gaskets.
The extra compression will help my truck get down the road.
Will I have PTV clearance problems? Im going to order pushrods last after I get someone to measure them.
I need to know what I have to do, If I need a expert to check for PTV clearance or what.

I know this, but I keep reading the Ls2 guy shave to maintain their stock compression, and I have seen them runing cams this size even bigger duration on some, but my lift of .621 on the exhaust is what concerns me.
