241 vs 853 heads
On a side note...
Don't the 853 heads have some sort of notch in them that requires a mill and or use of composite type head gaskets? What is the CC size after having this milled out? Any HG clamping issues in boosted applications?

If you had Head flow numbers, Vehicle weight, engine specs, altitude DA etc... That might give it some meaning. The fact that an 853 head went X.XX in the quarter tells us nothing. Any casting LS head in stock form can run an 8.95.
Slap some 853's on a built 370 with tons of boost in a light enough chassis and I'm sure it could go 7's
