Default Lq9 with 243 heads

To all my people that use nitrous will the bottom end be ok for a 150 or 175 shot if i keep it stock or i need to change pistons atleast dont plan on turning over 6600 rpms

I run a 150 shot on my ls1 with no problems. I've know multiple people to spray that or more on stock 6.0 with no problems. Its all in the tuning and parts used.

175 is pushing it but should be fine as long as you have good gas and absolutely spot on tune.

Not sure if you've already built it or not, but if I were you I'd at least do some ARP heat bolts/studs with LS9 gaskets for the added clamping force.
