Those flow numbers aren't as far off as Mike K.'s were. What kind of flow numbers did JPR quote to you? Have you decided whose heads you will buy next?

Good luck, whatever you decide. I am currently leaning towards AS 6.0l S2 heads...Jay says they are well matched to my TR 224/224 cam.

9t9,

Joe claims over 300 cfm at .500 for HDLV on an LS1 head if I remeber correctly.

Look at the bright side the best my JPR S1 LS6 heads could do with the intake in place was 239 thru the LS6 intake.

Those numbers thru the intake are on par with where stuff was about two years ago.

What type of flow bench did you flow them on?

What bore size?

I have a set of JPR/JD reworked heads that I need to get flowed.

Just want some numbers for comparison.

LOL,, I had a feeling your numbers would not come back high 9t9, like you said though you can get them reworked by someone else to get the #s up there. Good luck on your next build.

Ah, JPR's specail heads... they are so special they flow extra crappy!

Im sorry for your trouble with JPR product, but in all honesty, anyone who gets involved with Joe now-a-days deserves what is comming to them.

These heads were done last August. I am going to have them flowed next week. Guess I'll find out.

Speed Demon,

I do feel bad for you if these heads are not what you expected, but let me be honest with you.

I have warned more then a few people about Joe, but they still got work done with him, and had nothing but problems. I do feel bad for them, but I cant help but think "I told you so" I see that you got those heads before the truth about Joe came out. Im sorry.

I hope everything works out well, if they dont flow what they should I hope you will find a shop what will be willing to finish the work that Joe f'ed up on them.

Good Luck

I hate to see good people f'ed over. This should be a fun hobby and Joe just casts a bad shadow over it all.

I Sent my JPR ported LS1 heads to Scott Jantzer for reworking. He improved the flow numbers by nearly 40 cfm I'll have them installed with a new FM6 cam in about a month. I'll keep you posted on the outcome.

My heads were done last August and was in the shop the same time of EZ's. This was before all this. I never had a good reason not to use him so I went back for his new heads since he was giving me a "deal". I am heading to TTP now to see everything (I am at my office waiting for a friend) I will post pics of some of the stuff later.

Hey Gang,

I'd just like to say that I wish everyone the best. I really hope all of you get your issues sorted out and you all run well. I feel badly for you guys, I know how much it must irritate you guys to have spent your hard earned money and feel you didn't get a return on your investment. I met EZSS at the track at he is a good guy, its a shame all of this went down like this....

Do me a favor and keep the I told you so's to yourselve JS. You are the one that made up my mind about going to Jay Fisher and JPR to begin with because of the great numbers with that "small" cam. All of you were supporters at one time which made people buy into it also. I said I was going to post the flow numbers and thats all I did.
My car now has a set of Absolute Speeds 5.3 L heads with a Texas Speed 232/232 .578/.578 112+2 Camshaft. New oil pump, Rollmaster double, SVO #30's and Stainless Kooks. The car should be back together around Wednesday thanks to TTP. I wont have numbers until I get a hold of Eastside because I recieved some conflicing information about there retunes.

JAY FISHER HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CAM BS.IT WAS JOE AND MYSELF THAT PULLED THE ****,JAY WASNT EVEN INVOLVED SO DONT DRAG HIM INTO THIS CRAP.

I wish u the best but like I said to u and all the other JPR ******** lickers

If I were you I would get those heads flow checked when you get them back. What did he do to get the flow #'s higher? did he do valve work? extra porting? 40 cfm seems a lil high of a gain over a set of heads already ported. Im not trying to start anything or bashing anyone, but I dont wanna see yah get screwed. good luck and I hope you really got the xtra 40cfm.
