this is not perfect, but here goes: ___Litre X 61.15 =_____ cubic inches
Again this is not perfect but it will give you a ball park figure

Usually I use this one for quick calculations although its the same thing in different order:

bore x bore x stroke x pi / 4 x 8cyl

i always used bore x bore x stroke x .7854 x number of cylinders, what joseph said except .7854 is pi/4

Displacement Calc

Formula is:

All units are inches.
Cylinder Area = PI * (Bore / 2)^2
Cylinder Volume = Cylinder Area * Stroke
cuin displacement = cylinder volume * number of cylinders.

Yep. Notice that 7854 are the numbers in the upper left corner of a calculator keypad. No need to remember them, just start in the upper left corner and go clockwise.
