Cylinder Head Choices??? Please Help
looking to buy some cylinder heads pretty soon and im wondering what would make the best power with my combination. mods are in sig. i know gmpp has their cnc ported ls6 heads that are supposed to work well with my asa cam. (226i 236e) (.525i .525e) (110 lobe sep.)but im wondering if patriot or mti stage 2 ls6 heads would be better or possibly some stage 2 5.3s. car last dynoed 370Hp 366ft lb with slp cats in place. since then i got oryp. if i add a ported throttle body and asp pulley. what kind of power should i expect with a good set of heads??? thanks for any help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been looking for some time myself (do a searh on my name you will find several threads)
I have had several sponsors tell me that with my cam (228/228 - 588/588 112+2)
That stage 2 ls1 or stage 2 5.3s are what I need, I would not see much if any gain from a ls6 style head, for my set up....
SO I am going with the PP S2 Raceheads... You may want to look into them yourself.

You can't go wrong with the GMPP CNC'd LS6 Heads.
But have you tried calling Patriot, MTI, TEA, AP Eng., or any of the others to see what they recommend?
I called everyone before making a purchase, and got some good direction.
In my case, to pair with the TSP 231/237, I was consistently told either Stage 2 5.3's or Stage 2 Welded Chambered 6.0's, but never was told to use 5.7's. Ultimately, I really wanted Stage 2.5 true LS6 castings (and they were also strongly recommended), but they were to much $$$.
