Best place to get a new engine? Alright guys so I am in the market for a new LS engine. Where is the best place to get a new LS1 longblock OR if there are any sponsors that have deals going on I am also considering an LS3 longblock to throw in my F-Body. Let me know!

not new they dont. gm has topped producing new ls6 motors they may have a rebuilt one.
op i would maybe look into a low mileage l92 long block its the same motor as an ls3 minus vvt. you could pick one up used delete vvt and add a stock ls3 or a nice cam and be well under the price of a new long block even after you source an intake

The GM LS6 block might be dis continued but we have our TMS LS6 plus that has corrected any short falls of the LS6 with upgraded forged pistons, chromoly pushrods, Melling select high pressure oil pump and much more for only $4499 including a 1 year unlimited mileage warranty.

True but the ls3 also has a nasty habit about breaking those valves when cammed or revved high. To me it would be a wash
go with texas speed. had my 408 built by them and i honestly would never have another shop build another motor for me. they took care of me in sooooo many different aspects it was unreal. i live half way across the country from them and was skeptic at first but i am so happy i went with them. you will not be disappointed
