What is the difference between Windage tray & baffle? I thought they were the same thing

The baffle keeps oil at the pickup tube, the windbags tray I believe prevents splash back on the crank and keeps oil from aerosolizing

We expect them to start shipping next week or the week after.

There were some delays at the machine shop because some crackheads literally stole the power lines outside the building . They had to get a permit and hire a contractor etc to get everything reinstalled and running again.

So I've been lazy, and haven't mounted my oil pan yet, so I might go ahead and grab a scraper as well.

Okay, new crank scrapers are up and available for pre-ordering. Sorry about the delay. Here's the link to the scrapers:

http://www.improvedracing.com/oiling...rs-c-3_50.html

To summarize fitment once again:

EGM-300 - F-Body oil pan with completely stock bottom end with factory main studs only. We will be phasing out the F-Body specific crank scrapers so in the future you will just use the other models below with the F-Body oil pan.

EGM-301 - 3.622" stroke LS engines with completely stock bottom ends with factory main studs only. Aftermarket rod bolts and aftermarket rods will fit with some minor notching. Current stock does not fit forged crankshafts such as LSA and LS9 without modification, but the next batch will work with those engines as well as fit ARP rod bolts.

EGM-303 - All 3.622" crankshafts, including forged crankshafts such as LSA and LS9. Fits ARP main studs only (will not fit factory main studs). Works with ARP rod bolts and most aftermarket rods.

EGM-305 - Designed to fit Manley 4.000" crankshafts and forged rods. Will fit most other 4.000" crankshafts with no modification, but some may require minor notching. ARP main studs only (will not fit factory main studs). Works with ARP rod bolts and most aftermarket rods.

Yes, it's universal. We will discontinue the F-Body specific scrapers because they don't really offer enough of an advantage over the universal model. That will cut the number of different scraper models we have to stock in half while still fitting all applications.

The official availability date on our website is Feb 16th, but we will probably have it sooner than that. We are expecting to have them in stock end of this week or early next week.

Are you sending any of the new models to VCM in Australia or is it best to just deal directly with yourselves?

Best wishes,
Jason.
