I run a Callies 4.000" stroke and their billet Ultra H rods and the your EGM- 305 crank scraper does not fit. I leaving it out all together.

Can you tell us what the thickness of the Callies rods is? We are making a "stage 2" 4.000" stroke scraper that will clear those larger rods.

do you have a scraper 3.270 4.8 crank in a ls6 block with gen 4 rods

So far most people have said our 4" scraper doesn't work with the Compstar, but we will have an additional scraper available for it soon.

The truck oil pans have a very deep, small sump area. There isn't much room to add trap doors. Those pans will inherently perform better than others without a baffle. We've looked into it briefly, we didn't think we could fit enough trap doors in there for it to be worth it.

Yes, the Compstar appears to be similar to the LS7 crankshaft, so I think it will fit both. We are still verifying this. The LS7 does have different spacing for the main bolts as well but the new scrapers will accommodate both.

I appreciate the offer. The engine is not in the car yet but the bottom end is buttoned up already. I'd like to see how the new version turns out. It's probably going to be better performing than my modified one and if it looks like it will make a big difference maybe I'll take you up on it.

For anyone following this thread, I need to state that I bought the first version knowing full well that the scraper was designed around a Lunati crank and rods. I figured it would be close to work with the Compstar stuff. It was in some areas and some not so much. I spent some time with a hand file making this version fit but I knew before I bought it this might be the case.

The point I am trying to make is Improved Racing offered to replace it twice now with the new version when it is available. I've bought quite a bit of stuff from them and they are very helpful with great customer service. SO, buy with confidence. These guys are great!

So let me ask this as I am looking now at doing the Compstar 4" Crank and Manley H-Beam Rods with ARP 2000 bolts (7/16").

Is the interference with the Compstar rods or crank?

Would the Compstar/Manley combo work?
