Default 383 vs. MS4 any good ?

Hi.

I´m planning a 383 stroker build, i have MS4 cam from my previous setup, 239/242 .649"/.609" 111LSA.

How will it work with bigger displacement stroker motor ?

Is it any good og should i go with custom ground cam ?

Custom grind is always better..
It would do decent but imo a lot to be desired.

Call Martin at tick performance.

We could certainly custom grind you a cam for your setup, but to answer your question, the ms4 still performs pretty well in a 383. If you were looking to save a few bucks for now it would be a great alternative to a custom grind.

I agree. The valve events aren't ideal, but they aren't far off either. I've seen both he MS3 and MS4 do very well in 383s to make good average HP/TQ.
