Default Why are the spark plug wires not the same length?

i have a whole bunch of acdelco silicon premium 7mm spark plug wires laying around and i just noticed that they are not all the same size. Just a little different in length. Why is that?

If the distance between the coil pack and the spark plug are all the same on the ls1, why the length difference? Are some supposed to be at certain coil packs? appreciate any enlightenment.

Is it possible there is a mix match of car and truck wires? Truck wires are slightly longer

Yep would have to be it. LS1 wires are the same length.

only other thing I can think of is they were made for coil relocation brackets of some sort or maybe one of the aftermarket valve cover designs which move the coils/brackets further forward or back or up towards the intake for aesthetics
