LQ4 build cam help Hey guys I'm building a LQ4 I'm going to leave the bottom end stock for now just new rings and bearings . I'm going with a set of 243 heads and just wanted some input on a cam . The engine is going in a notchback I'm using a 4L80 .
I just bought a victor JR efi intake and I want to run a accufab 4150 .

Call up some of the Tech vendors and get some choices. EPS (Geoff Skinner)
is who I ordered from and Martin @ Tick, Texas Speed, Alan @ Futral, Brian Tooley, or Ed Curtis from Flowtech are ALL GREAT options for you.
I would imagine you'll end up with something in the 228/236 range

I'm not sure what the car will weigh when it's done . It's going to be a street/weekend 1/4 mile car . I wanted to pick out the converter after the cam and I'm going with a 4.10 gear .
