Default Vrx4 cam with 125-shot
Hey everyone I am about to buy a VRX4 cam for my CTS-V. The car will have headers, catback, cold air, 255pump, and a tune.

My question is do you all think the VRX4 228/230 .588/.592 112 LSA will fit well with a 125 shot wet kit or should i go with another cam?

Any cam will work with that small of a shot. It's not till you get into the 300 to 400 shot range that you need a nitrous spec'd cam.

Gotcha. Well between the VRX4 and a 224/228 .581"/.588 112+2 which do you think will be a better choice for me all around?

Bigger is better and the vxr4 is by no means too big.

I'd say a 228/232 on a 113 would be awesome as a great NA cam and even better with nitrous. Look at the spartan cam, has always been impressive.

Good option there too. The streetsweeper high torque is the same size, just a different LSA. It's a bad *** little cam.

So many choices!!!
The only reason I ask about those 2 cams are because I found them used for an ok price, but im willing to wait a couple days and figure out the best cam setup if needed...

Fwiw before I went with the F13 in my old car, the F11 was my other choice which is also a 228/230 cam, they're great cams.
