This is actually not true. I run .150 from bind with no issues. Some setups are optimal less than .040 some are optimal at over .150. There is no one rule for every engine on earth.
I ran into this problem a bit back. I have not pulled the VC in about 1k miles but I need to.

Well it's what I do, and what I've been taught. I also never had a cam with soft lobes either, so that's more reason for myself.
You guys look desperate when you try to say our springs are the same, because I think you both know they are not.
Brian don't get offended I mean they're the same manufacturer and will interchange. Don't get so but hurt, I even recommended he contact you. Lol
