Ran an iron gen3 5.3 last year. Starter bolted right in (98 ls1 starter).

I picked up an 08 alum 5.3 to try this year. Starter "dog housing" around the gear smacks the flywheel and will not bolt up?

Am I missing something? Do the alum 5.3's require a different starter?
