Ill definitely look into the stroker kit. As far as peak hp...here's a crappy cell pic of my dyno sheet

That's a pull to 7k,...the hp/tq cross right at about 3,900

Do you guys think the motor could handle a 150 wet shot?

I cannot see the pic at work but hp and tq are suppose to cross at 5252 RPM.

HP= (tq*rpm)/5252

A forged 347 after all the balancing and misc bearings and such is only about $2-300 less than a 383 from TSP. Looking at around $2k for a 347 and $2.3k for a 383. Does not include machining/honing to the block or assembly. Only parts and balancing.

My apologies, your right.

Im definitely going to have to look into the stroker kit. Now that i learned that the block is strong-im thinkin about spraying it aswelll

But before i go and dump all this money into this motor what are the hp/rpm limits of this block?
Or am i better off selling this motor as is and building a 5.3/6.0?

Thanks
Ls1 bottom ends are good til 500rwhp and that's pushing it. I'd stop at 500rwhp until you build bottom end or buy a ls6
