Default PTV with 228/232 110 cam?

Hey guys, I just wanted to post my findings of some piston valve clearances I got from degreeing a local guys cam in the other day. Here is the specs on the setup:

2002 Camaro LS1 (ALL stock internals)
Heads: stock
Rockers: stock
Head Gasket: stock .051-.052 thickness
Deck Height: -.0065 average (above the deck)
Timing Chain: stock w/LS2 replacement chain
Camshaft: Custom TSP grind
Specs: 228/232 .588/.595 110+4 (XER lobes)

Cam degreed/cam in at 104.5* ICL and IVO was 9*.
Results: .050-.055 Intake valve ptv clearance
.090-095 Exhaust valve ptv clearance

Just though I would share

Thanks, Joe

That's a lot less then I imagined. My 228/232 was 130 and 110 stock and I cut my heads 40.

Yes it was, and with soft springs as well.

130/110 -40= 090/070 kinda close, but will live.

Make it +2 degrees advance and gain a good margin on intake if you wish.
