Talk to Kyle at Thompson Motorsports. I went with these guys, and couldn't be happier

We have some great 408 options and a 1 year unlimited mileage warranty on our short blocks with a new oil pump. Give us a call and let us know if we can help in any way. Thanks again HCI2000SS.

Does that warranty include motors used in racing applications, particularly if they fail on the track ?

Yes it does include racing applications. It will cover anything other than abuse or negligence.

Many vendors consider "racing" to be "abuse" . . .

What about a failure caused by a "power adder" ?

Racing and power adders do not effect the warranty. If you break a rod, rod bolt, crank, ect it will be covered. If you melt the pistons or head, detonate the motor to the point that it scars the walls from rocking the pistons it will not. Basically if you have a motor simply break we cover it, if you do something to make it break it is not covered.
