Stroker Kit Help
Hey guys..So im new to the car world here..i have a 99 vette with 125,000 miles..i plan on rebuilding the engine myself but into a stroker engine..now being that my block is aluminum and not iron im told i have little possibilities..383 is ok but wanted to do a 408..anyways what should I do..or what are my possiblities if a 383 is all i can do then thats could but if not what else can i get and where can i get these kits from. thanks
383 is about it. A 408 is a 4.030" bore with a 4.0" stroke, but you can't go to a 4.030" bore in an LS1 block with stock sleeves, so it's not really an option. You can go up to a 3.905" bore and 4.0" stroke for 383ci.
You could put in a 4.125" stroke crank, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you're a well seasoned engine builder. It's a little tricky and turn into a disaster if not done properly.

We could sell you a full Manley rotating assembly for a good price! We can even assemble it for you. This would be the same setup we use in engines less then 800hp. PM me if you would like details and prices.
