cam for a 5.3 long story short i will be getting a camaro that needs a motor, with that said it will be getting a 5.3. since the motor will be out im going to cam it, whats a good cam to put in a 5.3?

It's really going depend on what you want from the cam.
Do you want a smooth stock like idle, does it need to pass emissions, what transmission do you have, daily driver or weekend car....?

Brett Foote The 228R in a 5.3 is pretty dang choppy either way you slice it. Though a 112LSA will bring the torque curve in sooner. Check out video clips of that cam on Youtube in a 5.3. On a 110 LSA it sounds like a Magic Stick cam.
