Default Rotating Assembly problems??

98 camaro ss with a ls6 block. Bought the car, drove it for a week and cooked a few rod bearings. Tore it all down. Had the crank turned 10-10. Bought .010 thicker clevite bearings.installed crank tourqued properly. Had big ends of rods checked. Machine shop said they brushed a few of them out. Installed them and tourqed them properly. Did NOT plasti gauge to check for oil clearances. Had 500 miles on the motor then went and got a dynotune. Oil pressure dropped down to 20psi. Tore it all down and found that every main and rod bearing were wore down tobthe copper. The rod bearings spun because the little tangs were pushed in. Number 1 and 5 mains were not worn though?
My question is why would it do this. Its got me pretty stumped.
