lost a valve spring lock, heads in car???

Default lost a valve spring lock, heads in car???

ok im changing my valve springs with the heads on the car, the last spring I lost one of the locks, has this happened to anybody? could it be in the motor? makes me F@#$%ng nervous

I did EVERYWHERE is there a chance it went in the motor?

It's probably in the space where the lifters are, the heads guide all the oil back to that area, you should use a pen magnet around the head bolts and back to the lifter trays. It can fall to the oilpan if it gets past the lifter trays but may get lodged somewhere on the way.
