Default Light

IIRC this is the radiator coolant light. There is a switch on the radiator below the radiator cap. the switch is either going bad, gone bad or dirty. Hope this helps.

If you need an owners manual just Google "1998 camaro owners manual" and download it.

Countryguy, this is the genIII internal engine section. Cranks, rods, oil pumps, etc.

Your question is a vehicle specific question and belongs in the Camaro section.

countryguy1717,Only if the coolant level is below the sensor outlet. The switch is a square switch.

A lot of the time the sensor is just gooped up from crap in your cooling system, and it doesn't take much at all. I'd remove the sensor and clean it, that should fix it at least for a short while, or just unplug the it.
