I have a quick question. can you bore a 5.3L to a 4 in bore? I have done the research but the results were inconclusive. the reason why I ask is because when I started my build I was going to bore my LS1 to a 4" bore. i didnt realize how little cylinder wall the LS had. now i am having difficulty finding a LQ4/9 for a good price. So I started to try and find different blocks that I could poossibly bore out. So far all I have found is the 5.3, which is what i have in my truck. Is it possible to go so far out with the LMG?

No you cannot, those are basically the same as the 5.7s as in max you can take em is about 3.907
