I am going to be buying a LQ9 motor with a 4l80e trans. The motor and transmission have 58k on them. My question is how much do you think i could get for the stock crank. going with a 4.000 stroke crankshaft. going for the 408ci mark. Also i need the best info, in regards to getting a good price for a nice crankshaft to make my motor 408ci. also any info that you could give me would really help as this is my first built period. this motor is going in a 1977 Chevy Caprice. looking to make 500rwhp. trying to keep my motor build under $6200 if possible. any info that the Vets of this forum could give me would really be appreciated.
