I just cancelled my order for some LS6 heads. Said screw it no matter how nice they are supposed to be they don't do me any good if I don't have them. Summer will most likely be over by the time ya get em!

Yep. The LS1 scene will probably be over with by the time they come out. I waited forever on them to come out, but I would actually like to race the car this year, so I went with some 317 heads.

What are you talking about when will these heads be ready?
They have been finished since July of 2003 right?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
You have a better chance of seeing GOD then you do geting these heads on your car in the very near future.

Why did they bother with the 205's first? Everyone wants the 225's! Release the 205's later for the guys wanting to play little league.

Not sure about the logic on that decision.

Any release date on these?

If that 450 RWHP on a 224 is easily repeatable I think these will be pretty big,

I stopped by AFR today to pick up some valve springs for a buddies circle track car. I had an opportunity to talk with Tony about the LS project. He gave me a tour of the facility and even showed me the new manufacturing cell where the LS heads were being manufactured. Pretty impressive to see a pallet stacked with approx. 200 raw LS castings and another pallet with 100 or so finished castings waiting for CNC porting. With 6 machines dedicated to CNC porting 24/7 it shouldn't be long now. I tried to bribe Tony to let me take a finished set home but he wouldn't accept.

You guys are too impatient. Not good in this hobby. Let them come out when they are 100% ready. AFR is already getting slammed here. Just read the above replies. If they post good #'s they get slammed for something, and if they post bad numbers then it's a 12 page soap opera. If they post nothing then it's still the same. I hear that's why the updates are being posted on the vette forum.

Why wait?
Flow #'s @ 600
LS6 Stage II (Int/326,Ext/230)
5.3 Stage II (Int/313,Ext/227)
1x (Int/284,Ext/219)

These are from Absolute Speed, Flown with LS6 intake, on a 3.9x bore at 28*

I'm choosing the 5.3's

Are you kidding, its almost the same thing over there . I did the writeup by "Pitch Black Z".

People just don't understand how things work, or just flat out don't get it. Its alright, some are going to regret their decisions.
