Default 383 stroker build need help...

I'm in the process of building my motor and I'm in need of some good advice on certain aspects. Who do y'all recommend to build high hp boosted ls engines. Thanks in advance.

Yeah I shouldn't be going over 18lbs of boost. It should hold that easily. Hoping to be around 800-900rwhp

Ok so I talked to a VERY reputable ls engine builder earlier and he said to run the main bearing and rod bearing clearance at .0025 on my aluminum block 383. I'm only questioning this because everything I've read on here says .0015-.002 Max on the mainbearings on a aluminum block. Any input??

Here is the clearances texas speed gave me for my machine shop to follow. This is a 383ci that will see 12-15 #'s of boost...

For a motor like yours with the intended boost levels we would set the ring gap on the pistons at 21 on the top and 23 on the second ring.

Main Bearings:
Journal 1).0027
Journal 2).0027
Journal 3).0022
Journal 4).0027
Journal 5).0028

For Rod bearings we go anywhere between .0020 to .0022

Thrust on the Lunati cranks is set to .005"
