Default cnc 243 heads identification

In need of some help trying to figure out who did the cnc work on these heads. I picked the up from a member on here and he thought they were prc ls6 2.5 heads, but didnt see any etching of prc anywhere. One of the heads has a H and the other has a K in one of the chambers. It also has EE etched on the opposite side of the casting number of the heads. The heads had a ton of work done to them from bronze valve guides, ferrera valves and patriot gold dual spring. Any information would be appreciated.

The value part number are F6703 and F6704, but I can not find them on Ferrea website as well.

Anyone? I found out the valves were private production valves for Patriot Performance. The bronze vavle guides are patriot performance as well. Does HKE in Houston Texas do CNC work on heads?

That's what I was going to suggests; HKE. I do believe they do head porting. Maybe give them a call and ask how they stamp their heads.

HKE doesn't CNC heads, the H and the K in the port are cast in there from GM.

I contacted HKE and Erik told me the work wasn't done by his shop. I have never see those casting letters in any of the other heads I've owned.

I had TSP do my heads and purposely told them to leave the 243 on and not etch their logo on it. I am not sure what if any markings they have added.

It does make things more difficult when a company removes the casting number from the heads and etches their own Logo in its place. TSP-PRC did my 243 heads and removed the "243" from both heads and I now have a fancy etched "PRC" logo there.

Now some heads have what appears to be a serial number stamped on the exhaust flange side, I wonder if that number can bring up what casting they are.

That really makes it nice when you want to sell them and can't prove that they're not 241's.

I have the older style PRC 5.3 heads from Texas Speed and it has the 862 casting number stampted on the head. I was told some of the newer 5.3 heads by them just have the PRC on them.

id say the hell with it and run them. Trying to find who ported them is like finding a needle in a haystack. A lot of diff companies do ls head porting. They look to have been ported really well. If u anything I would have them flowed and check cc's.

Mine still have the 243 stamping but on the other corner they are Stamped E E like op posted.
They made some good NA power but I removed them for some LSA square port heads and a turbo.

I have a few sets of CNCed 799s from a shop in MI, the 799 is milled off the top but there's still a 799 on the underside.
I believe they might of been GM blems, I think it was common @ 1 time for places to use GM 2nds.

I have 4 different sets of heads at home and they all have the # stamped inside the head in the middle above the head bolt under the rocker stands. Here is a pic of 706 heads. It actual has the # 1706. My 317 and 243 heads have the same thing.
