Default Oil consumption

Ok I have a carbed lq4 bored .030 to a 370. New pistons, rings only have about 300 miles on rebuild. It's on its third oil change and I just checked the oil today after driving about 2 weeks and it seems the level has dropped a little bit by looking at the dipstick. I am running PCV from the drivers valve cover to back of carb and a small air filter on the passenger side valve cover. When idling I can see a blueish smoke (oil) coming from the filter on the passenger valve cover. Rings were gapped .020" top .022" bottom for nitrous later on. Could the oil loss be from the filter or maybe rings still seating? Thanks
