need your opinion on this lq9 build? im planning on doing and lq4/lq9 build...i ran across this for sale-
what do you think of this deal?
specs on motor :
Lq9 stock bottom end
L92 heads.
26926 comp dual valve springs and titanium hardware
Shimmed .030.
Custom cam
replaced gaskets
stock out of an 04 escalade.
heads are the l92 heads off of an 09 vortec max.
valve springs are comp 26926 from del stafford at house of power.
Through a 4l60e in my 2002 Silverado locked up it made 443 when tuned by mike lavigne on Nola's Dyno.
408 through the 4l80e. I ran it with a 200 wet shot for about 4 bottles. Motor was very healthy.
At 5k lbs on the juice it went 11.4@121
*******he is asking 2500$
basically everything besides intake/fuel rails
1. do you think that is a good price
2. do u think i can get it to 500rwhp by modifying it a little more;
(port the heads, spec'd cam, exhaust, intake good tune)

Im building the same thing and have about $4000 into mine so far using a Lq4 that has new everything bored .030.
If you plan on installing as is I would say Sounds like a good deal as I couldnt have built whats there for cheaper. When you talk getting new Cam/Port ect might be a different story.
