I'm in the process of trying to add up and get everything ordered for the install. Heads are 799's that are in process of being hand ported and having valve job done. They have already been pressure checked and were not milled. They have around 40k miles on them. Cam is the Comp 232/234 .595/598 lift. I have already ordered; Brian Tooley Dual spring kit and his trunnion upgrade kit, just ordered the Morel 5315 drop in Lifters, and have 42lb injectors. I plan to order new lifter trays,Head gaskets/bolts,Ls2 timing chain, balancer bolt, 2 water pump gaskets, front cover gasket/ crank seal and valve cover gaskets. Other than new fuel/oil pumps and pushrods is there any other gaskets, bolts, or anything else recommended for swap?

 

Any suggestions?

I think I'm going with the Chevy LS High Volume LS Oil Pump Kit(#17801830) for the oil pump also.

 

sounds like you have just about everything. I made it easy on myself when I did my head/cam swap and bought the gasket/bolt kit that Texas Speed sales on their website. It has everything you need to complete your swap. Btw, I have the same cam and stage 1 ported ls6 heads and my car is pretty stout. I think you'll like that cam. Good luck with the swap. Oh, and if you end up going with a new OPSU, do yourself a favor and get a ac delco one from your nearest dealership. Stay away from the borg warner unit that advanced and autozone sales.
