Default Help with install

Ok, so I've searched and found nothing really similar to my problem. I just installed a tsunami cam into an otherwise stock internal LS1. I used prc duals and was told by tsp that 7.4 pushrods were normally used, but to measure. So..I've measured at least 50 times and keep getting different lengths from piston to piston and valve to valve. My "average" measurement is around 7.45 which seems to be off from what others I've seen and spoken with. Any suggestions? Does the length seem too long for stock heads? Possibly lifter related? I measured per the methods listed on this website. Thanks for the help.

I would "guessed" that it would require a 7.425 at minimum, based on the minimum change in the base circle of the cam. This is also consistent with Texas Speed has said on occasion. https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...-pushrods.html However, if it measures 7.450 inch using the preload you want then that is what I would use.
