TSP Tsunami Cam w/stock lifters & pushrods?

I will be installing the TSP Tsunami cam this weekend and after speaking with a buddy of mine who works at a race shop and has built quite a few high hp motors he said that stock pushrods and lifters will work fine with this setup as long as I keep the revs under 6500 rpm and that a bent pushrod beats a dropped valve anyway. This is going into a 2005 LQ9 w/stock 317's and the Lunati .660 dual spring kit.

CHANGE THE PUSHRODS....the first time you get on there hard, those things are gonna go. you are just asking for trouble if you done.
also people only mess up thier valves when they dont measure for PTV cleaence. so it is set up right, you should be fine...but change the pushrods, those things break and bend on stock power levels

If it's me, I would put a pump and chain in while it is apart. Mainly because I don't want to go back in and change it later.
On pushrod length, we typically end up with a 7.425" all else being stock. That being said, we always recommend measuring just to make sure everything is correct for your specific application.
