Ok I just rebuilt a 370 using wiseco pistons and their rings. .021 top gap and .023 second ring gap for nitrous later on. After initial startup and getting to temp I changed the oil. Truck was open headers so I couldn't drive it a lot but did a couple short pulls down the dead end road up to 4500 rpm. Truck has a little less than probably 250 miles has used almost a quart of oil. Did I not seat the rings properly or could they still be seating? After I put the mufflers on I did get up to speed and engine brake it a few times. A little blue smoke is coming out of my filter on the valve cover that I have. Thanks for the help

Just drive the truck tonight and I couldn't see any smoke coming out if the valve cover breather. I also took the oil cap off while running and it had a light suction. The truck pulls like a freight train and the motor feels really healthy.
