Torquer v3 Cam parts list
Torquer v3 Cam parts list I will be putting a torquer v3 cam in my ls1 by the end of the month. I just got my refund check so I want to start gathering up everythimg I need to install the cam. I already have my cam ready...I just need to know what supporting parts I need to install also. I will also be installing a set of 243 heada also. Thanks.
Best bet is going to be to call tsp and theyll get you hooked up.
Off the top of my head youll need..
-head gaskets and all gaskets from there up
-headbolts or studs
-valve springs to match lift of that cam
-correct length pushrods
-and a tune to run that cam

I didn't use a mail order tune. Stalled a few times on the drive over to the dyno but no big deal. As long as you can get it started and running I would save the money. Just don't install your injectors till you get to the tuner.
If its your daily I would look for a different cam though. i run that cam and its got good power everywhere but also hard on a valvetrain with its LSK lobes. I only put 500mi a year on my car so its not a concern for me. You can get a cam that won't sacrifice any power to the V3 and go much easier on you internal parts.
