Ah ha. It was an interference problem.
Best check your pushrods. Wouldn't be surprised to see some bent ones.
I'd carefully inspect all the rockers as well. On the underside where the tip meets the body.

Question for you guys I got this spring set for my cam swap ( http://www.lunatipower.com/Product.aspx?id=2584 ), and it only came with black seals not both black and brown, this problem did not allow is to use the new seat, am I going to have the op's problem? I did use the new springs retainer and locks.

I would say yes, you will have the same problem. I run this spring kit from lunati http://www.flowtechinduction.com/lun...g-kit-73925k1/ and can tell you that those black seals are made for both intake and exhaust. After you remove the old seal/seat and install the new seat you push those seals down real hard against the seat. I use a perfectly sized socket and tap it on lightly with a hammer, until it contacts the seat.

I will go out on a limb here and say that any dual spring kit wont work with the stock seal/seat. Thats why all the dual spring kits come with their own seats and seals.

I would fix that issue before you run it.

Got to working on it today and is there a way to determine if that valve is bent?Cause when the rocker arm broke it contacted the retainer and then knocked out the locks and the valve spring tried to shoot off.I can grab the valve stem but cant seem to get it to move up or down or even just spin it.Im assuming that means it is more than likely bent.Just wanted to make sure.

Your description sounds like a bent valve and/or guide to me.

That sucks so bad.Even if that piston was all the way up the valve would still drop some before it hits the piston right?Basically I would still be able to move it a little even if the piston was up.

With the piston at top dead center the valve should move some.

Yea there was like a light scuff is the best way I can describe it.Almost like someone nicked it with one of those sanding wheels.I didn't take a pic of it though. Didn't actually gouge it or anything luckily. No damage to the cylinder wall either, just the guide took a good hit mainly.

It can all be repaired.
And will be as good as new.
Obviously that valve fell in and was helped back up by the piston.

Well you have yours and I have mine, my problem is a oil pan bolt decided to spring a leak by the filter. I guess when we dropped the pan a but to change out the oil filter the gasket just of moved a bit. I'm hoping some rtv seals it up by tomorrow.

I have been through that recently also.I dropped the pan down to get the oil pump off to change out all the timing stuff, got it back together and I had the same problem.....a leak right by the oil filter bolt.I tried to silicone it,never would seal,it would leak after the car ran for a matter of seconds.Ended up having to pull the oil pan. Then get it all back together again and think im good and the water pump goes bad the next day.....and this is all before the rocker arm/valve issues.I hadnt been able to run it enough for that stuff to break yet.So after all that was replaced as well as the rocker trunions cause they broke on initial startup I thought I was good, got it cranked up good and drove a mile then the rocker arm stuff happens. Its has put up a fight for sure.
