Lq9 6.0 cammmmmmm help
OK GUYS im having a hard time deciding between the Torquer V2 cam and the HOWARDS # 190245-12 cam.
Howard Cam= 222/225 .561/.578
Torquer V2 Cam= 232/234 .595/.598
im running stock lq9 with headers, fast tb.. nothing else but a tune...
this is going in my 88 Monte Carlo SS

Between those two, I'd lean towards the 232/234.
But of course, you left out a lot of info about what your goals are, how streetable you want the engine to be, if it's an auto or manual car and if you want to keep the stock stall f it is an auto, etc, etc, etc. So that's just my opinion based on what I would want.

yes im running truck intake with 317 heads. its also an automatic. its going in my 88 ss.
i want a good street car but when i go to the track i wanna perform also.
goal is 425-450 hp.
i was gonna buy a ls6 intake but whats the use when its not that much better then the truck intake except for LOOKS. so ill rather spend that 500 somewhere else like my rear end or stall converter.
