Default 24x VS 58x & Wiring

I brought a wiring harness from a 2013 L99 engine, minus computer, controller or ECM but came with the pedal. I was actually buying the accessory drive but through in the water pump and wiring for a great price but I'm sure I'll have to get those other pieces to make it complete. I have another thread about the details of the build, a poor mans LS3. It's an lq4 that I'm having bored .065 over and adding LS3 0821 heads, intake, rods & pistons.

Anyhow, I'm sure this is a Gen IV harness, just looking for help confirming what my options are.

I've seen the Lingenfelter TRG-002 conversion box or would it be easier to simply change the crank to a 58x from the 24x that's in the lq4? Also, depending on which way I go, would I need to change the cam sensor to the gray 58x one? And what about the front cam/crank cover, do I need to change that?

One last thing, the valley cover. My valley cover is completely flat, will I need to switch to the one like the LS3 (or ideally the LS6) with the vent spout on it or does it not matter either way?

Thanks in advance for any help!

The converter box you are looking at is the one that converts a 58x crank into a 24x crank. That is backwards from what you are doing. If you want to run that harness/ computer combo, you would need to switch the crank reluctor wheel, crank sensor, and add a newer style front cover and cam gear. They don't make a converter box that would work for you. The computer that harness would plug into is a 58x only computer. As for the valley cover, you will be fine with the one you have. Another option would be to buy the correct computer/ harness combo from us!

Okay, that makes sense. I'll just go with the 58x and pieces and make it work but if not, I'll hit you up about buying a harness!

Thanks
