Default Repalcement single springs...

So I've been out of the scene for a while now and I've been on the same 918 beehive springs for the past 30k miles or so with my TR224 cam (0.563/0.563 lift IIRC) and am thinking I'm needing to replace them soon before taking my car to the drag strip again. What's the latest and greatest in single springs now? I see PRC (could be PAC?) has a set and so does Comp Cams (918's). Has anyone known of any recent failures with either of these springs? Running a double spring is not an option, I'd like to keep a low mass valvetrain. Any help is greatly appreciated.

PAC Racing Springs is probably one of the best on the market. I'v been using their beehive springs in a road racer for years. I have a set that I'm installing now.

I had been considering the PAC beehive singles for a while, just haven't pulled the trigger on buying a set yet. Had any issues with these springs? What profile can are you running? How many miles do you run them for? Where do you shift?

PAC 1519 would be my choice. Nitrided beehive with 150lbs closed pressure.

No issues at all. Never broke one. It's in a SBF, with one of the biggest cams I could find. I usually shift around 6,500'ish, lap after lap.

PSI LS1511ML would be a good choice.

The PAC 1219X is very similar, but with 5lbs less closed and open pressure, and they retail for $50 less than a full set(16 ea.) of the PAC 1519.

1500 series is the same as 1200 series but nitrided for extra longevity.

The PAC 1219X is part of the RPM Series, which should not to be confused with the 1200 Series. The RPM Series is more comparable to the 1500 Series, than the 1200 Series .
