anyone could please tell me what timing chain and gear set do I need a 2003 lq4.single or will a double chain fit.I am looking at brain tooly racing sets as we speak.Thanks in advance.

Either will fit, but with the double roller the oil pump has to be spaced out. This moves the pump closer to the timing cover, requiring clearancing, and further from the pickup tube, often resulting in the oh so common pinched o-ring.
