What valvetrain/engine combo are you running? Your pr is at least an inch longer than stock!

Thanks for the kind words guys. I do appreciate it. I've been working on this for a while and now that it's coming together just fills me with a humble pride and appreciation for my life. I'm not building it to set records or anything. I just want a fast car that's a blast to drive. The pushrod is long for a few reasons. ETP/MAST heads use a longer pushrod if you keep everything else the same. They're usually at 8.100. The cam you see pictured has a reduced base circle which adds to the length. I'm using Jesel lifters and they put the pushrod cup lower in the body of the lifter to make it more stable. All of these add up to increased pushrod length.

I did the Trend 3/8-5/16 double taper pushrods. They were machined from one piece rod. Beautiful pieces and they did help stabilize the upper RPM.

My exact intentions. I'm just using a beefier version for the increased spring pressure. I saw a video showing pushrod deflection in a running engine and the small pushrods looked like spaghetti noodles. Don't skimp on your pushrods. They're very cheap in comparison.

Great stuff right here. I guess you plan on this engine seeing RPM's well above 7000?

The limiter will end up around 7500-7800 I guess. I'm using quality components in order to ensure that it's reliable for years to come. The solid roller will be more responsive than a similar powered hydraulic roller due to the shorter seat timing and that is part of my want list. The advertised duration is similar to the typical max effort cams for stock displacement. This will idle fairly well once warmed up and scream to redline.

I've been pretty busy but I think I can have a dyno video in a week or two.
