How critical. Injector retaining clip?
I'm on the last leg of working on my ls6. I seemed to have lost 1 injectors little metal retaining clip that goes on it to help hold it on the fuel rail. No dealer has one in stock locally. How critical is this for me? Would napa carry something like that.

Yeah, they might carry something like that. Once the fuel rail is bolted down your injectors aren't going anywhere, and they shouldn't leak; mine haven't! I think their purpose is just to allow a fool proof way the injectors and fuel rail to be removed as one assembly without the possibility of one of the injectors staying in the intake manifold and have fuel pour out of the rail. I haven't had mine on for probably around 8 months without any issues at all.
NAPA does list having Fuel Injector Spring Clips so you should be able to get a replacement through them if you still want one.

Only reason they are on there is that so the injectors don't fall out when the rail is out of the car. But once bolted down, the clips do absolutely nothing as they are barely on there to begin with. The injectors and rails should be very secure with just the bolts to the intake manifold.
