Default ls6 oiling pressure issues

alright Gents heres the build and parts that are applicable

LS6(434ci)
2 Gallaon ARE 3 stage dry sump( elite engineering catch can til break in is complete)
FAST 102 mm intake and TPiS90mm TB
Setrab standalone oil cooler, R class
Melling oil pump
C5R oilpan Pickup
Using redline oil 10w-30(9 qts)

I am currently having issues with pressure. idle pressure is around 23psi and running does not icrease pressure as it should. I replaced the Oil Pressure sensor yesterday and still no change in pressure. Is this a common issue anyone else is facing and does anyone have any thoughts? The car does not act hurt at all, and the oiling system has less than 7k miles on it as well as the engine.

Have you checked with a mechanical gauge?

I have not yet, that's the next step. really hoping I just got another bad sensor. Since this is in a C5Z I have to pull the whole intake again to get to that little bastard

I have an Fbody. I feel no pity for you lol.

You wouldn't have any pictures of the oil system do you? If pressure doesn't increase with RPM, I want to suspect the pump isn't getting oil. Could be a sealing issue or could be a vacuum issue.

My 02SS was easier I think than this. I don't have any pictures readily available since I am at work. Melling pumps aren't known for quitting, especially with only maybe 7k miles on them. I am hoping that the sensor or connector is just fried. Best case scenario.

mechanical guage installed. Shows the same pressure levels. however I believe my external pump is slipping. It is belt driven and run right behind the Harmonic balancer. has anyone ever had a similar issue?
