piston to valve clearance? ?rwhp?? I'm doing a lq9 swap in my 01 trans am , I am planning on putting ported and polished 243 heads with .041 mls head gaskets , cutsom grind cam ( 238,242 ( .610-.612 lift) ls6 intake , stock throttle body and full bolt ons , 3600 stall and 410 gears ......2 questions will I have good piston /valve clearance without fly cutting ?? And has anybody got a build like this and what kind of numbers did yall get ?? Thanks in advance
I would bet you need to clearance for it.You'll leave atleast 25+off the final # with that intake but it's always nice to know you have more to gain with bolt on mods,very good base you have though,should be pleased with the
