Would anybody happen to know what the base circle is for a MMS 229v2 cam ?

You might as the manufacturer. Also, if intake and exhaust lobes have different lifts, there is a good chance the base circles are different. Cam manufacturers like to get the biggest base circle the lobe lift will allow.

FWIW, why do you want to know the base circle dia.?

I have one but it's at WAR and I don't have a measurement off of it and WAR hasn't cam doctored it yet. I'll call tomorrow and see what I can find out.
