Default Quick ? On head bolt tty

I'm putting on 317 heads with a 6.0l head gasket on a ls1. I'd did the first to 22ft/lbs and then 90degrees on bolt 1-10. Then another 90 degrees on bolts 1-8. The 55 degrees on bolts 9-10.

Is this still right way to do this? Cause it wasn't that hard to do and I could probably move them more. 9-10 bolt I know I can move more.

So at start - 90 | 90 - 9-10bolts 55 /

This right?

I also did head bolts today same as you with correct sequence and it seems the center 2 bolts were just alot easier than the others. Kinda weird. Im debating pulling them out. I could of went another 90 on those 2 no problem. I dont remembertit being like that

Yall chase the threads in the block out with a tap? Lot of old gunk can be down in there and mess with the initial torque readings.
