longer crank bolt?

So I went to summit racing today to get longer crank bolt (m16x2.0x120mm)
and they say they don't make them so I was wondering where other people get them and if you have a part number

The LS7 crank bolt is longer. I have the part number somewhere if I can find it. Or just order one for any year LS7 powered Z06.

ARP lists the standard LS engine crank bolt at 4.325 inches long (110mm). The LS7 engine crank bolt is listed at 5.225 inches long (132mm).

ARP has the longer LS7 bolt, number 234-2504.

Im sorry i did not mention why in my post. I'm putting my cam in next month and wanted one to pull the pulley back on the crank I did get the stock size arp crank bolt for when its already on

I installed a Powerbond Pulley several years ago and tried to use an ARP bolt...something went wrong and it cross threaded and I damaged some threads inside the crank. Long story short, needed a longer crank bolt QUICK and actually ended up going to my local CAT Dealer...yes the same one that makes the construction equipment, and they had the correct bolts in several lengths...I just needed to provide the info for the bolt I wanted and they looked it up. It was actually fairly cheap as well!

I would rethink using the bolt to pull it on. Use threaded rod and some thick washers. Youll be putting too much stress on the threads using the bolt

Don't use this method or you may end up with a buggered crank. Make a tool, it can be done for less than $20.

im going to call our chevy store and and borrow the tool one of our advisors at my dealer is still friends with some people over there. hope they let me if not ill just do threaded rod and a nut

I got my installer from a forum member here but that was a long time ago. You can pick one up from colorado speed and have piece of mind not damaging your crank.

I called fastenal, and they carry the correct m16x 2.0 threaded rod in 1 meter length. I bought that to make my own installer.

Quick tip... put your crank pulley in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. It'll slide right back on. Mine went on 90% of the way and it pulled right on with the stock bolt without stressing it.
